Reflection

This project has taught me that I LOVE cooking. In the beginning, I was super excited to get started but quickly became overwhelmed. The process of getting the list of items was what stressed me out the most. It was a big project to take on and I knew it was going to take effort. Once I got everything organized, I went straight into making it a memorable cookbook. Throughout the entire project, I came across many challenges and struggles but in the end I got what I was striving for. The point that got me to use the title, "Not So Professional Cookbook" was to prove that the amateur can do good work. I am so grateful for the experience that making this cookbook gave me. The whole process was long and I came to find out that my time management skills are not the best but I can look up from that because of the fact that I completed it. The recipes are truly good quality and the purpose of my project was succeeded.

After sharing the physical book with a few people, I have found that my college roommates appreciate it and plan on using it during the semester. It strays from my Major, which proves that I am extremely diverse. This is needed in any job market and my cookbook can show my creative side. This gives me such a sense of relief and success. I am not really planning on publishing it professionally because I am not ready for a non-stop process of editing while I am still attending school. I hope to keep sharing it with friends and family and get their input on my net steps with this process. If I decide to make it go public, I hope it comes with acceptance for its amateur personality.
